OK HERE GOES WHY IS IT THAT IF YOU RUN STREET BEAT ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS ATTEND 1 SHOW AND BLAMMO YOUR IN FOR FINALS. WHEN OTHER CLASSES/DEVISIONS NEED TO OBTAIN 200 POINTS THROUGH OUT THE YEAR. YOU GUYS DID A GOOD JOB NURSING THIS CLASS INTO THE LANES, BUT NOW ITS THE BIGGEST DEVISION YOU HVE AT FINALS, AND THEM GUYS HAVE AS MUCH TIED UP IN THERE SYSTEMS AS I DO MONEY WISE. SO WHY IS IT THEY GET A FREE PASS?????????????????

Imo I think that the current way that sb is setup is to get more competitors in more new classes = more $. Which any sound minded person would agree. I'm sure that after Ralph observes the new classes he will make mod's where needed.
I don't think this has anything to do with what the price of equipment is for each competitor. Imo both are valid classes.
To be top dog in either takes work and time. just my 2 cents

we all play ball in Ralph's ball field so we play by his rules. I personally don't care if sb requirements are not what the pressure classes are. things are never gonna be perfect-- we don't live in a perfect world. If we did it would be so boring

If it mean any thing to you all.... Drag's Bass Race you have to have the same amount of points as the regular classes. Good point Jeff!

yes I agree with Jeff about the current way sb is setup. Like I said I'm sure Ralph will make mod's to the class soon. sb is new---drag's are not. Thing's happen a little slow sometimes with usaci. Maybe Usaci could use some type of a quality control person to oversee what's happening . I'm sure Ralph stay's busy with everything he has going on.

I have talked with ralph about this in the past, I dont think he can/want to change it mid yr this yr. BUt next yr, you might as well count on point requirement for SB.

Well I have been watching this an now I must comment. Jeff has made some great points, yea I know hard to believe coming from me right. Well he is right we do need to start getting points for sb classes, especially if you have ran the class for the past couple of years.
Now finals,never really been can't wait to attend this year an give jeff a huge hug cause it's obivious that he needs one LOL.
I have to ask though an maybe ralph can chime an help me out what is the point of an invitation if you don'T get any benifits of being invited. I mean do the class you was invited in do you run that class free of charge or is your entry fee cut in half? What is it?
I mean let's say I don't get my 200 points but I still wanna come to finals what's to say I can't drop my $150 an run? This is what I gather from talking to all you guys though, and show directors I know have to get paid an at this huge show but what would like to see is us getting something other than a 7ft trophy, although that is good but I think if we are invited I think we should catch a break on entry fee room fee or something.
This is my rant for this morning I will be back later to rant some more later. Oh an 2000 watts continuous for 30 sec on a 2000 watt Maxx sub is a hellava lot different than 8000 watts burst for 3 secs on a 2000 watt Maxx sub why you may ask? Thermal ratings that's all I have time for folks catch my ran this evening.

What he saying is guys are getting free rides by running sb, but what I was saying for what? Either way your gonna have to pay to play at finals an full price at that. Ebay I would like to see is if your invited you should only have to pay half the normal cost. Will that ever happen? I don't know but I would like for ralph to consider it.

Its only for one week out the month or if he goes to anywhere sandy during the year.

wonder if i can run 1 show in SB then run mod at finals?? lol usaci is horrible at keeping track of what class you got points and SHOULD be in at finals. when you get an invite. it should say "your invited in mod 0-1000" or whatever. sorry i guess its a little off topic

my guess is a lot of sb rules and requirements will change after this yr.

We'll just have to wait and see. And hopefully they will be good changes

dumbass my last two builds at finals were really streetbeat builds i juts changed my mind each time about running those classes.talk out your mouth not your ass.
