kinetik hc16????

am i seeing and thinking correctly here? you can run these off a 18v alt.. and then run your car itself off the 12v tap? so you only need one alt, to charge the 16v post?

Yes.

Charge the 16v side and run amps. Use 12v post for the vehicle's electrical. We are running 7 in the Ram Van w/ a 16v 300a Ohio Gen.

The 12v side is pretty weak though Sad

so you just need the one big alt? no more need for the 14v alt? whats weak about the 12v? what are you tryin to do? cant you share all 12v posts?

The 12v side just runs low...like under 13v.

But yes, I have 1/0 from the ground, 12v and 16v posts on the front HC16v. Then 6 HC16v's in the back w/ 1/4"x1" aluminum bus-bars across all posts.

cirrect alan you can run the alt to charge the 18v side then it also brings up the 12v side at the same time
