| Dude, don't stop helping folks. It is one of the things I love about meeting/ talking with folks on this board!
Pitcher Sanford Kollar Logan Jaffe Sanches
If you get an answer from any of these folks, you know it is the truth, You want RMS, go read the brochure, you want how it is compared to others read above. I'd be a little more thankfull if I were trying to get info like this from someone.

Its ok though things are slow down there, and its going to affect you sooner or later Wow how did the entire south get involved with this? I agree your testing results does establish some kind of comparison since there all done the same way under similar conditions but I don't believe it is refined enough to declare which amp is stronger. If one amp has more capacitors or other means of storing energy it may give a higher peak but my no means make it stronger. There are two many variables in a amp to judge its performance by peak. Don't take it as Im bashing your method, it does work... Just not for declaring which amp is actually the better performing

Yes, it does. That is called the phase angle. You would need a dual trace O-scope to measure it. Jeff is correct measuring his amps the same way every time. For comparison it will show which amp is stronger. If someone else measures in a different way, then jeff's numbers won't mean as much. 1/4 mile vs 1/8 mile times. Engine hp vs wheel hp. It's not quite the same.

| Wow I can't believe you jump down Peter's throat for asking for the RMS power. All you had to say was I can't provide that I only do peak power and leave it at that.
I'm pretty sure he was looking for more people that test RMS power like he does since he doesn't test peak power to help him decide on what to use based on his and others' results.
