| some guy is trying to tell me a AQ 2200 is head and shoulders better than the RD D5 and PF600s. I tried to tell him first off, the AQ2200 is rated at 4 ohms 500watts at 12 volts (audio junkies say its rated at 4 ohm power 740 x 1 @ 14.4 volts) and the RD D5 is rated at 500watts at 4ohms, and the PF600 is rated at 600watts at 4ohm. Any thoughts?
I tried to explain I can run 3 rd d5s or 3 pf600s, but he is hard headed. I even explained that the AQ2200 is a bad a$$ amp for $400 brand new with warranty, but not a good amp for USACi 601-1800.

| Some people dont under stand that just b/c all are "rated" similiar @ 4 ohm doesnt mean they are the same power.....same goes for dd m3's.....rated @ 600 @ 4 ohm but wire it down to .25 ohm and it comes alive just like d5 and cactus. | |

| nice, Im not knocking the AQ 2200 amp, it is the best amp in the world for $400 brand new shipped. Just wanted to point out the RD D5 and Cactus pf600 are in a different league than the AQ22000. | |

On 12v the m3 will hang with any 500-600 @ 4 ohm amp....On 18v the d5 and cactus are crazy power.

| thats my whole point, the DDM3 and the AQ2200 are bad a$$, but as an overall amp, they aren't as good as the cactus pf600 and RD D5. The best deal is the AQ2200 for the money, I mean $400 for a brand new amp shipped is bad a$$, but if you're seeking a world championship the Cactus pf600 and RD D5 are the way to go, nobody can argue with that. | |

| We got 4300 out of a dd m3 @ .25 rising to .85 holding 12v flat( 3 kinetik 2400's) and this was after a 5 sec burp. Like I said on 12v a m3 will hang with the d5 and cactus. Now that the rules have changed however the d5 wins b/c its only 500 @ 4 ohm. Crazy thing is a m3 wiill burp @ .125 in alot of cases!!! | |

Considering I've clamped 4241 out of a m3 at 12.6v I think the m3 is up there with the almighty d5....in fact I think the m3 would beat the Dung Pile out of a d5 on 12v.
