i'm a newb

hey whats up everyone? i'm chris aka goose. new USACi member(as of this afternoon). have a few buddies who've always been into competiting and just now got into it last year and hoping to this year (if shops in my area would hold comps). but hoping to get some good tips and insight on ways to help improve and have some fun while at it. i've only done 2 comps with my new system-144.7 the week after install w/ no tune and somehow a 152.7 at a show on audio control....pretty sure it was messed up cuz doubt hit that hgh (Granted have the vid to prove haha) and did one at another show in indy last year with old system.

I probably won't make the drive for a single points show. maybe cape or st louis (if they have one this year)

yea if stl has one i'll go since i went to herculaneum twice last year for scion shows (missed the stl one last year cuz of being on call; was gonna be first show to decide if wanted to join or not)

oh my damn this brough celica chick we haven't seen you in some months lol but welcome to the forum man, don't take half the Dung Pile we say on here to each other we really like each other. we like one big dysfuctional family, we fuss we fight, then we tight again. so welcome to the family looks like you will be better suited for sound quality cause that car looks killer man.

haha will do. i've learned from spl at slamology last year its not howw the car looks when comes to spl lol. you won't be able to miss me (well my buddy who's goin with) 'shortbus' aka yellow aztek w/ 8-10's lol. and i should stand out somewhat (car wont look same as in the pic by then lol) hopefully i wont embarass myself too bad firts time around.

Hey Goose13, I will be at most if not all of the shows as well. So Joe is going to break out the Shortbus again. I have not seen Joe out since 07'. Tell Joe that Aaron Hanselman says hello.

will do man. he had it out last year at cruise for charity (and a ton of other shows; finally got him out n about. we did 2 set ups last year for him). he hit a 153 at cruise last year within 5 seconds and mic fell off lol. and yep i know u'll be out since ur the one that told me about the shows lol

there will be a few shows in st. louis this year guys. and ill be at the quincy shows with BIG PINKY too. welcome to usaci man. and maxspl, padre is usually a blast(until you wake up in the back of a cab at the mexico border trying to get back in with no i.d at 7am)

Do you have any dates set for the usaci shows Charles? Will these be your shows?

awesome, def lemme know dates and will hit any outside of june/midjuly

may have 1 soon if i dont get the van done for padre,lol. nothing set yet, but unlimited audio helped me last year put on our regional and im hoping to do it again this year hopefully with a better turn out and maybe 1 a month or so in conjuction with paulies out in quincy to have 2 the same weekend so it'll get a better turn out for each.

Definetly recomend going to one of his shows, the night before you get treated to " The Charles Estes Strip Club Tour "

How come everytime charles name comes up Strip clubs come up at the same time?
