Finally......

So, might as well get the whole story out there since I have been getting questions about it for months now.

I was pulling out of a Wal-Mart parking lot, with the system up, and there where cops at Smoothie King. Smoothie King is about ¼ away from where I was, they follow me and pull me over saying they heard me pull out while they were inside Smoothie King.

I thought I would just be getting a disturbing the peace ticket or something, but I didn’t know that my insurance had been expired for over 3 months….Parents fault… So instead of just a ticket, I get the ticket and my truck impounded.

This was over two months ago. Up until the two month mark I thought I would be getting my truck back. But after the price got over $2,000 I gave up on it. So, I start looking for a new truck, I knew about one I liked and had stopped and asked about before. He had told me $2500 when I had asked him a few months before; this time after I told him my story he dropped the price to $1800. I was/still am very happy that! He has just put $3000+ into the truck fixing up the transmission and what not, I have seen the receipts to the work. He said he taking a hit but he’s ok with it.

The truck I “HAD” was a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport with the 5.2Liter V8. With A LOT of stereo stuff, which I can’t get to, so I get to start with nothing… But that’s ok. =) The “NEW” truck is a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport Laramie SLT with the 5.9Liter V8 Almost exact copies of each other. I am very about this, I loved my old truck, but it wasn’t worth it to get it out. It needed $4000+ in repairs to get it right. The stereo in it was worth MAYBE $1500.

With the new truck I am just going to do EVERYTHING right on it the first time, no messing around with anything on it. First day I get, I am taking out the back seat and starting on the wall. I am putting either 4 DD 2515”s or 4 AQ SDC2.5 15”s, on 2 AQ2200’s or Sundown 2000’s. Everything else is still up in the air.
