| Due to what happened with cretin competitors, organization and the economy, Kicker has pulled there budget for the 09 session. You will still see Kicker booths and lot of Kicker product out there winning as usual. I seen this happen before I know Kicker will be back in full force after a good regrouping! | |

| I unerstand there was a post earlier about Kicker. It was made by a competitor and not by Kicker. I spoke to the competitor about it and was told it was his opinion only. I see someone has already removed it. | |

| I understand there is no longer a Team Kicker. I am sure that after time and an improvement in the economy they will be back.
Without competition there is NO ONE to continue to promote 12-volt to the masses. If that happens the industry and sales WILL DIE. Hope things pickup and the manufacturers see the slippery slope we are standing on before then

| Team Kicker will never die some of us will keep it alive...... Just because they backed away from the competition in 09 well it happens.....I'm taking a break away from usaci finals in 09 and so is most of the team anyway .........The (team members) are the ones that made team Kicker what it was in the lanes...We are still here and we still wont be easy to beat......I will still do some local usaci shows in 09. Good luck to all in 09.......... | |

Stuff like that makes me laugh you see many many companies go to other sports too like Memphis=racing etc etc.....I know its just for averitizing but you have to know your roots.... One thing all audio companies should remember when they put all there eggs in that basket (other sports) they are helping with stuff that pushes someone else's products to the limit....We take there audio products that any person can go to a store and buy and push them to the limit.......

One thing all audio companies should remember when they put all there eggs in that basket (other sports) they are helping with stuff that pushes someone else's products to the limit....We take there audio products that any person can go to a store and buy and push them to the limit....... Problem is there are so many "organizations" these days all with their hands out. Retailers are split up, competitors are split up, and the manufacturers cannot support them all. If they support one and not the other then they make some of their customers mad. Easiest thing to do is not support any and avoid the conflict. Same thing with company teams. So many people wanting sponsorship, all with different agenda's and supporting different organizations. I only do dB drag, I only do Midwest, etc, etc, etc. If I were a manufacturer on a budget I would not pick one, I would pick none of the above and wait it out. To many politics involved on every level. The root of the bigger problem here is everyone wants his own org. Too many organizations, too many different people claiming to be national champions, and too many political agendas swinging support from org to org depending on the climate today. USACI, dB drag, MECA, NSPL, Midwest SPL, and about 10 other new local groups trying to get a piece of a shrinking pie that is either mostly eaten or, thanks to the trash talking and infighting too sour to eat from. Bickering, trash talking, fighting amongst the orgs, fighting amongst the members, more bad publicity than good, a new competition organization every year, all are strong reasons for manufacturers to support other groups outside the sound off organizations. It is not their fault, just read the forums! Read the trash talking on this or nay other organizations forum and anyone who may have been interested in supporting this sport would be turned away. The industry will not come back top the sound off’s until they come together as one. Problem is, even if they do, some other yahoo with a bigger and better plan will decide to start another one, put his hand out, and once again dilute the value of this sport. As for Team Kicker issue, I think they did the best thing for them for now. Probably should have come sooner. So, what org you supporting this year? What finals you going to? Who do you want your sponsors (manufacturers) to support? Are they the same as last year?, the year before? No matter who you answer, or how many people answer like you, there are an equal number of competitors who will have a different answer, a different org, and a different agenda. This is bad for the orgs, bad for the sport, bad for the industry, and in the end bad for all competitors. I for one am tired. IMHO
