totally disagree .....once the cars get to a certain level u can set them up to stage and image perfectly from one seat.....if u were going to judge sound from just one seat most pros and experts have the ability to do this.....so u might as well just judge tonality.......one seat is a very bad idea unless u like all sq places decided by install score.....not an opinion

Staging and imaging is not the whole enchilada! Tone, balance, definition, clarity, placement, warmth, spacial recreation, etc.... etc.... stc.... Have NEVER hear two cars that scored the same EXACTLY on the advanced or expert, or Q sheet. Intermediate yes, Intro every day.....

Honestly, with the Tulsa show being two-seat plus the turnout expected...I'd say this will be the cat's meow. I really hate to miss it myself.

I want to just clear the air a bit...someone said something that made me feel I should comment...somewhere else, not here.
Mine and Chris's competitive nature aside here...this is pure me here...no Team influence, no agenda, no nothing.
I at first thought this show may be a little biased...I don't now. I support this, what Car Toys is doing, and I have a ton of respect for the high caliber of judges that are ready to kick everyone's tail. This is what we all need before Finals. I would BE THERE with my car competing if I wasn't on vacation. I'll be in town before the show Thursday for sure. (work, I have an office there).
I don't think I'm that important and don't really understand why anyone would think that my opinion of a show or it's judging matters. Really....but, I just want everyone to know...I'm behind this 100%. I wish everyone the best of luck! I also thank you that are judging for taking the time out of your schedules to do an event like this and I thank CarToys for hosting something that like DSN is helping put SQ strongly back to the forefront. Chris, you and Rick both get a huge pat on the back from me.
I'm sorry to detract from the thread...I had three different people from different places come to me about this and I wanted to publically address it...I'm going back to my hole now, where I ship buses, play with stereo, play with my kids, and play drums.
