nice score guys, but a question you might want to look into. i dont think you can use straps like that on the outside of the car. its considered exterior bracing or atleast thats what we were told like 4 years ago. just dont want to see you get to finals and have something happen. great job though and good luck the rest of the year.

Yeah i wondered that too.... I mean i see the supermod guys able to do it. So figured Mod could too. But yes check first so you have a back up .

what are you talking about? I have seats, no concrete, My headliner is OEM,There is nothing in the rule book about strapping your doors with a nylon strap not a metal one, its not attached to the car just around it and the AC unit is just to cool off at the show because it was FREAKIN hot

no hatter here just heared some people talking in san antonio show about that little car there main consern was no carpet and the back querters looked and felt realy thick and they said the doors were concrete thats why center block was needed to hold doors open just letting you know theres some people watching you preety close

You can MODIFY from the B pillars back and no theres no concrete in the car. Why would i concrete a door then hold it open ? The block is just to hold the door open because the the bushings on the door are wore out from being 30 yrs old. That car had no carpet in it when I bought it and Im not sure what the factory interior was for a 1978 CVCC . It does have a rubber floor mat in it like a jeep or a utility pickup would have from the factory. Let any body watch that wants to. I have nothing to hide.
