I run SB3 and SB4 at USACi events and ran SB4 at world finals. You can only run one SB category at finals.

The few rules to interior mods are defined: No constructed enclosure or speaker placement that may manipulate the SPL sensor may be placed forward of the “B” pillar. Factory or factory replacement front seats must be installed in the vehicle in factory locations. Must have the front bench or both front seats. No woofers larger than 8” inches may be forward of the “B” pillars. All woofers larger than 8" must be behind the back of the front drivers and passengers seats. SB5 is the only class open to any vehicles that use a system voltage higher than 14.7 maximum or utilize multiple alternators. What other type of mod do you have questions about? Contact Mike Jaffe and he can go over this with you in more detail.

| I fiberglassed my doors, b pillers, my a pillers and eventually plan on fiberglassing my dash. in theory the harder surfaces should make the pressure bounce around instead of soaking it up therefore modifing my interior would/should make me read a higher number | |
