I'm still a pretty big fan of A/B amps. Much more dependable than class D amps. I haven't ever tried to used them for competition purposes though. It would take a ton of batteries to run them in SB, with the amount of power you need to be competitive.

Going to try it with an Orion HCCA 275. Will let you know what happens.

there is an amp that i've been considering that will do master/slave...... that has characteristics of a class d but is class a/b that doesn't play pass 150hz

Greg one of US Amps techs uses the A/B aps to compeate, All i know about his system is 4 amps 4 MX12s and a crx, breaks 150s i dont know how far though
