the 3000.05 isnt gunna do 4400 if the 3500.05 is only doin 3600-3700

well i thought the rerated the ab400.1

well every thought it was rerrated except for the main office wich kinda tells me it was just spread the word type of thing and people fell for it kinda like me


the 3000.05 does 4400 watts i said i had it and tested it at .25 on 2 odesy 2150's you can sit and deny all day long, but the way i see you is a procrastinator actually its the old debate lets dog this amp to cover our own

the new db amp coming ut that will do 4000 watts but rated at 6000 is yet another questinable amp but noone will say anything about it till its to late also wich btw is the new amp coming out you guys have been tlking or thinking about

jeff how do you test the power output of an amp, cause the stuff i see your numbers are always high, sometimes really high.

the way we test isnt on peak...

true rms is the only way to go

well correct peak hold and if thats the case then no dought the 400 is spot on at 600
I do test amps the way that MT Estes showed me and I have also watched him do many times and not to many people actually doguth him for whats its worth i was meary starting poop in here but now im getting a little more into this

1 400.1 in my car at finals 2 years ago did 156.3

2 3000.05 did 156.4 that mean there is a good comparison between the amps except i wasnt no where near the ohm range the mmats needed dont get mad cause you run an amp tat somneone else has and you dont want it put out there

chad last year with 2 3000.05's and 6 12's much like i had except i had a more efficient box amost did the same number as me with them and i had 2 200.1's on 17v so this is not a maybe deal its the real dea dont like it get over it but it is what it is

and how do you know your boxes are much more effecient than mine? were talking two differant boxes and two differant cars here. we clamped the amps and were getting about 3300 watts out of one, and with 2 i figure more voltage loss, so probably a bit less per amp.

but anyway yeah, if a mmats does 4400 watts then a 158.3 can be done all day long, because we clamped the 2 IA20.1's in my car and thats what they do, 4400, could maybe do a couple hundred more watts with good voltage, but i still havent fixed that, so... if my box isn't as efficient as yours then you should have no problem doing 159+ with one mmats right?

first off running yuor mouth to me wont solve poop i have only heard one guy that ran these amos admit what they do and it obviousely aint you integrity problem there you might wanna fix that

second off my box is alot more efficient and if you want prove come run us on the b and k and loud and clear the class will be 601-1800pro my box tops out at 159.8 so it wont get any louder than that so the real truth lies in legal there

no trying to get smart or start anything jeff, just stating facts here, thats all the amps do. about 3300, maybe 3500 with good voltage...14.7 instead of 13.9. as far as boxes you should know this as well as i do, just cause your box is the best thing you have found to work in your car, doesnt mean i should build it 100% like you did in your car for my car. my car is differant, i have dynamatted rear, roof and doors, you dont. some say dynamat hurts crx's, well i havent tested so i dont know, but bruce said it doesnt hurt my car. i just had to tune it way differant for it to work.


hopefully i finally get a good run out of my 40.1 this weekend, still going to sell it, but a few weeks ago i did a 156.1 with cracked cones on 2 woofers, one in each box, one of them the cone was actually seperated from the motor.

well just dont forget that the amp is 900-950 not 600 man

i know, i'm in 601-1800 when i run that, actually a few weeks ago when i ran it was the first time i ever ran it through the lanes, still havent decided 100% on what class to run, but i'm hoping with good woofers i can do a lot better than a 156.1, because i have done a 156.2 with 1 20.1 lol

what setup did you run at N.W. Audio Chad?

i think at nw audio he had the 6 L5/L7 12s and his ia 20.1

1. it boggles my mind how you seem to know, cause apparently you've done testing with it cause you stated wattages and ratings, about an amp that isn't even out.

2. why exactly would you consider an amp that, according to your statement, does 4000 watts and is rated at 6000? sounds to me that if these ratings are correct then the amp is actually rated 2000 watts more than it actually does.

actually, i think he meant to say the rating is going to probably be 600@4ohm...

there is no new dbdrive amp coming out this year jeff. thats rob getting you guys all worked up. if and when it does come out it will have a proper rating, its a dbdrive amp not atomic or american bass.
