Well what's the solution then? Cause I sure as hell am not going to mod. I think walls are the dumbest things ever LOL. Narrow PS down to 2 classes for all I care, just keep the 1 amp class to keep it on the cheap for anyone that does have the balls to move up. I wish they would join the 2, that's where all the competition is....sad but true. Maybe if more people would move up this wouldn't be an issue?

Doing this will make people drop out. Only guys with manufacturer backing will be able to compete in these high power super mod classes.
Lots of peeps had issues this year, that is the reason attandance was down in Pro stock. The were not sure when was finals or if there was a finals etc. Could not get off work at that time, because finals date was announce late.

Stock class should be limited to 2-3 years, so new blood can enter. We need new people to come in the game. With all the pro in stock class, newbee can't compete against them.

For Pro Stock I like keeping 0-600, 601-1800, and then doing 1801+. Now we've eliminated 3 classes so that we can add Pro SB1, Pro SB2, and Pro SB3, and then just call SB5 Pro SB4. Thats what I'd like to see...

I like this idea. I still think a trunk class would be a nice addition to the classes. Seems like most of the competitors like it too.

you know i remember when i started this back in 2003 we didnt have these issue finals was friking huge and i mean you could not even walk without hitting or i mean walking into someone let alone trying to push your car to the damm lanes now listen up cause this is what i think has gone so wrong and you might not like it but herem goes

the main problem we have now is all you wimps that want everything changed to suit you and what you got going on every friggin year its the same damm thing after finals we need to change this we need to change that cause i didnt win boooo waaaaa how about you soldier up and figure out how to get the most out of your system

something else you might want to consider about the attendance is thie is the first year at a new venue, maybe people sat this year out to see how it was going to work out. I personally think its not the greatest ideas to base the classes on the attendance of one show, regardless of it being the big one.
IS it better to have a full lineup in less classes at finals with less people attending everyday shows or is it better to have a few breeze thru a first place and those people continue to come out and support those shop still putting on shows. Which is it about, the competitors and retailers helping keep this alive or the person cashing their checks?

that doesn't work either if i piss someone off im sorry but look the way r teams r set up if someone steps out someone else will have the same setup as the guy who step out so what differences dose it make tell us the class so everyone can shut up and go back to work on there cars

I agree with what Jeff and Jimbo are saying...things get changed way to mucn, but it really does suck seeing only 1 or 2 people in a class in prostock. It seems like a cheap win that way. Wouldn't you guys rather run against a group of good builders rather than having 1 (or 2 in your case) top guys in a class? I mean 0-6 pro came down to Sam and Jeff, 601-1800 came down to Jimbo and Jeff, Chilcott had no competition at all and won by default and we won 3000+ pretty much by default. I think Ralph is happy with the stock classes for the most part but he has a point with prostock. Why not trim it back to fill the classes more. Let's all man up and run against eachother...win or lose, atleast it would be a fun battle right?

I was discouraged that there was 2 in my class, but I account that to a new venue and the late announcement when finals was. I figured more would be there. The only pride I have in the trophy I recieved was 1 I beat my personal best, and 2 Jeff and I made it exciting to the end. When I go to finals I pride in being there amonst the best of the best, but didn't get that feelin when 2 was in the class. I fully expect this upcoming season to much better, especially if competitors get to know when finals will be quite abit earlier than last year.

Samsuel yes i say lets all have more comp in PS three classes i just dont agree with 2 of them. The reason he is having to trim things back is attendance .. Wouldn't that make ya wonder as an owner of something what in the hell is going on ppl are not showing up... When the answer is right in front of them, hell they didn't see it in SQ years ago guess they aint gonna see it in SPL either.... But yes i see what your saying samsel

Example 96 each SQ class had at least 27 cars in each class. Then year bye year and cuttback bye cuttback we get to 2000 and there are 20 in EACH class.... Then cuts back to 2 classes in each SQ division.. and like 10 each class to last year of 5 in each class or so..... To this year ALL OPEN CLASSES............. MOTHERFUCKER I GUESS GAS IS A SONOFABITCH..... ROFLMAO. But i will gamble right now in saying this will happen on SPL side and nobody will be at finals in 2010 BET.... Ohhhhhhhhhhh wait all the whinnnners and bitches will be and they can win then.........lol
