The only problem with other orgs like this. You will never be a world champion! It takes a world wide org like usaci to do that.

How was your attendance from your 2012 shows? I wish I could go to more but gas prices and other stuff have kind of kept me away from traveling pulling my van. 2013 I got a car with good gas mileage so hoping to go to as many as I did a few years ago. Only time will tell though.

Texas has lost its support due to some bad judgement calls. We need to win back our following and get current with the times. I know of one great promoter in the state of Texas. She has worked her ass off but she cant do it alone. The heatwaves were some of the biggest and baddest show, now they are Dung Pile. DFW is in a fukn mess as are the heatwaves. Houston is the only area that is helping any cause for USACI, and its because someone will not stand for bad judgement calls. Yes I'll put my neck out cause Im the only one with balls to say it. Now what? I know ill get the bad looks at the shows and everyone will cast me out, but again. ill stick my neck out cause no one else will. South Texas shows suck ass too. Let it be discounts, cash or any fukn thing, but it needs to change cause its not right. I have nothing against you or what you say, you would not be the one with the dirty looks anyway. Houston area is the only area that is moving. Forget finals for now, lets think back at all the Heatwaves. How many people were there? Not many. Its sad when i went out to any of these events and only saw a few car running. why? lack of interest, leadership, greed, bordem or all of these..WTF is going on? Its not like these event don't draw out cars. Not just competitors, vendors, spectators, magazines but everyone at one point has been run off for one of the past things. God knows I love this sport, all the pain, heartache, cancer, divorce, lost money and too many other things have help me run it course, but for the love of GOD, open your eyes and see what I see before our game and industry's time runs out.

Texas is doing very well in part because it is our point of origin, in part because we have always had good representation there, and mostly because of the really great support from the competitors there. Great competitors being the key. Dallas and San Antonio are slow but we are working on that. We have some of the best USACI competitors there in Texas. Dallas is hard because of a promoter there who does free shows every week and has no affiliation and no loyalty to anyone but himself. As for attacking you, I don't see that happening. Your posts have been of this same negative nature for so many years no one notices any more. It is pretty much expected. As for Jenissa, she is a member of the USACI team. What she does reflects on USACI either positive or negative not just on Jenissa. You and others try to set her apart because of ulterior motives. I know about this because Jenissa is loyal to USACI and she tells me all about it. Best of luck there. You want to know what is wrong with USACI in Texas, look in the mirror and ask yourself what you have done to make it better. Then ask if you have done anything to make it worse. Then answer yourself and you will have the solution. USACI IS OUR MEMBERS. We are only as good or positive as those who support us. Your comments, your words, your remarks are what people see and how people determine our value. People read all the negative and see all the complaining and they choose to go elsewhere. Why because of USACI or because all they read and see is bad bad bad. You tell me, are you helping or hurting? Are you part of the problem or part of the solution?

| Wish it was like it was back in my day. We went to all the Thunder on Wheels shows. They had great turn outs in Tx.
Seems like the big brands put alot of emphasis on the shows. We used to sell a lot of product leading up to the shows.
Back then everyone with a punch 45 and 2-10's was ready to win. Im not really up on USACI but i feel like there would be no reason for me to go to a show. I have 2 RE MT 18's 2 Sundown 3500's 2 Alts 5 batteries Alpine nav HU all Focal and Alpine front end and a really clean install that does a 151 sealed on the dash in a 07 Avalanche and feel like i wouldn't have a chance in hell.
Not sure how it is now cause i haven't been to a show since the 80's but if there is a good way to draw in the new guys that dont really have Dung Pile thats what i would go for as a promotor.
The first time i went to a contest i was 16 had the punch 45 and 2-10's and loved it so much i looked up at all the bad ass vehicles and started installing at a store. And before i new it i had 12 15's in a walk through toyata truck with 2 rockford 650's. Went on to open my own shop and only made it a few years due to being young and not understanding money.
But anyway i love the sport i looked here in tx and only seen a few shows coming up mainly in Houston
sorry for getting all nostalgic but just wanted to offer and old mans perspective figure out how to get the newbies to come and eventually the will put together some nice stuff and their friends will be jealous and have to do better
maybe the keep it simple stupid KISS method would be a good way to go
Also some corporate sponsor $$$ like rockford and Kicker used to through around would help too i know free t-shirts used to draw alot of people and wet t shirt contest never hurt
Again just and old mans 2 cents not sure if any of you remember but my roommate back then went pretty far in the shows i think he even held a world record in spl at one time his name is Greg Record he had several cars back then named Shock Wave yeah we used to name our cars mine was Aftershock we are from the big town of Abilene TX.

| Last weekend we were in Tyler, TX at Turkey Drag and had almost 70 competitors, it was a great show. The next show is at Moody Gardens in Galveston January 26 & 27, 2013 for the Texas Championships. I am updating the website ( www.bassbattles.com) with shows as I can, we have shows all over not just Houston area. | |

| We had 21 at San Antonio BTW. Not huge but a nice turnout for that area! Looking for more shows in 2013 in the SA area. I know we have at least 4 already!

| Just added 4 shows in MO and 3 Show in Kansas. Just getting started. Finals will be very close this year and USACI, IASCA, dBDRA, and MECA are ALL tentatively confirmed to share the venue! USACI is also looking at holding Bass Race events in conjunction with our Midwest shows. Other directors may follow. Stay Tuned!
