I'm not an expert on promoting events, but if it is happening, it might help to put it on the events list and front page of the usaci site along with the other events happening this weekend.

Was told yesterday didn't have 30 cars so it wasn't gonna happen

... i want to see it come from one of the admins.... im not driving 2.5 hours on a may or may not have it.....

So now USACi can predict the future too? how do they know there isn't going to be 30 cars.

i think it is because we did not pre pay....

ohh ok, well he didn't say it was a requirement to prepay, just that we could prepay, heck i even said i was gonna pay at the event and he didn't come back and tell me it was a requirement to prepay (heck he'll probably say he didn't read the forum after that to see i said that, but that the point i'm gonna make here, not everyone reads the forum, which him by saying that would make what im saying true, or by not sayin that would just mean he didn't care if it happened or not.)

heck mark came on after him and said if there werent 30 cars it wouldnt be a pmq and if we wanted it to be we (the competitors) would have to put up the money

I took that to mean that the show was going to happen weather there were 30 or not. if there were 30, cool pmq, if not, ok then thats ok, regular 2x event.

so how much was this promoted, doesnt seem like ralph wanted it to happen from the beginning, nothing on the website, no emails sent out etc. just one line in the middle of a 3 page topic. i hope that someday ralph figures out that not everyone is on the forum, and even those who are not everyone reads every post. that doesn't just pertain to this topic, but to rules, requirements etc. seems like everyone would probably agree on stuff more if it was put on the official USACi site, rather then it be jo bob told jim bob, then jim bob told his brother, who told jack who told me, then i talked to jo bob and that wasn't the case. thats all i'm saying. if everything, rules, events, rerated amps etc were on the "official site" then everyone would be more knowledgeable about everything

i guess i wont be getting my 0-600 points, no finals for me since an m3 decided to take a crap and i sold my pf 600's

i was still planning on a show even during the sale of my house and looking for a new house , i should be packing instead but i will still do this , i would prefer to have a good showing , it really scks to go thru this to have only a handfull of competetors show up , i do agree(sorry ralph and darville) that our shows seem to not get posted or posted wrong alot. I always have door prizes, and often offer a raffle , but these shows get smaller every year , in just called darville and left a message to get back to me and he always does .

I AGREE , NO SHOW >>>>>>>>>>>>>>three days before show and it never got added , i saw ralph post he was coming , i called darville he said he was coming , now no one wants to post anything , that being said , i am done for at least this year , i have sold my acreage and need to pack and move , that is more important than this , i am sorry to all that were going to come but this year just has not worked out for shows , i will be back after the first of the year and if there is more interest and thing get listed properly than we shall try again , this will be my first year not going to finals since 2005? maybee a little time away will lite a fire under my asss . maybe i will build for myself next year? i still own a rex , a s10 , and a astro , as well ass other ideas , so see ya
