OPINIONS NEEDED ON USACI

WELL AFTER A LONG HEATED DEBATE ON FB IT SEEMS PEOPLE THINK OF USACI AS AN ORG THAT DOESNT HAVE ANY STRUCTURED RULES OR ANY TYPE OF JUDGES THAT CARE TO ENFORCE THE RULES. I AM WONDERING IS THIS WHY YOU GUYS PLAY HERE BECASUE YOU CAN BASICALLY DO WHAT YOU WNAT THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, ANDGET AWAY WITH IT JUST TO SKIP FINALS AND NEVER BE CORRECT ON BEING WRONG????

Even if people read the rules, there are so many. contradictions in it that it makes no sense. One part says trucks can use the bed for equipment the. A few sentences later it says you can't. One thing say you can pull panels behind b-pillar, then in a higher class only the ones behind the b-pillar and below the window line. That is just a couple

Just like some people saying that rhino lining is not legal, and I have stated several times show me where it says that in the rules. It just has gotten out of hand and it creating problems in the competition scene. Not saying the other orgs are perfect by any means all have their issues. However I see more USACi shows in the south than any other org. So that is where if someone wants to compete that is their only choice. I mean in DFW there is a local org that does shows, and it also has its issues but people go to compete, because there may not be another show that weekend.

I DID START MY COMMENTS ON THE FACE BOOK PAGE TO TRY AND HELP SOMEONE SO THEY WOULD NOT RUN INTO AN ISSUE AT FINALS, BUT LIKE ALWAYS IT TURNED INTO SOMETHING TOTALLY DIFFERANT THAN THAT DUE TO THE DISLIKE ME AND ALAN HAVE FOR ONE ANOTHER.

He didn't know what he was doing. The globe was out in the middle of his floor.

Anyway.. what I'm talking about is even though verification is thin at a 1x drag show. Their judges know the rules.. and can answer a rule question without talking it over with another judge..or having to talk to Ralph. And ill gaeantee their finals is much more evenvolved than ours.. I've been to I think 5 drag finals.. there isn't 8 lanes.. there's 2.. and there's 4 Sanmans standing there while you run.. watching.. putting in and removing the sensor.. you can't even open the door or get inside till he's done. This is so like at our finals.. I don't build a enclosure with rubber floor mats or slide a tool box up behind the globe..etc etc.. all stuff that has and can happen.. no one even makes sure the sensor stays in the globe. Someone could pull it out..stuff it high.. then had it back in 2 pieces and say "the sensor fell out when i pulled the globe" and nothing would be said.

follow rules, understand rules, directors and show promoters job. etc.

SQ IM NOT FAMILIAR WITH FOR THE SIMPLE FACT I WAS NEVER WILLING TO SPEND THAT MUCH MONEY ON IT LOL

I personally think SQ should be pulled from any show the director doesn't know or have the ability to judge properly. Even if that means SQ is only judged at 3x point events and finals. So what. It's best. USACi's SQ turnout blows at local events. Finals isn't bad. I honestly think it is a competitor's search for good and consistant judging. That being said, the 'competitor' only exists if the extraneous income exists to build a SQ car properly.

Didn't this get bumped to 15.5? And it reads like 14v batteries are allowed? You just can't charge them higher than 15.5

I don't believe terminal were counted in measuring them. You would subtract .88 from the 9.4 height then. Other orgs also recognized them as being under 800 also

Jeff is a long time competitor. He knows the rules well and does his best to enforce them. He does it because he WANTS TO. He does not get paid, he does not get rewarded, he does if for love of the sport. He can be rough at times. He and I have had several rough patches over the years. Bottom line, he is stepping up and trying to make it better. I wish we had tweny more like him, then the issues being brought up here would no longer be issues.....
