| installed a remote start on a 2002 AURORA and now battery is draining over night anyone have this problem before if so whats the cause... | |

Bad install? You won't have that problem with a kinetik. | |

| Check and change the cable that is running to your constant power. | |

| It sounds like one of the ignition wires or accessory wires is tied into the 12 volt constant to the alarm. Re Check your connections. | |

| all wires are connected to proper location. i did change the 12v constant wire and still drains .. just wondering if one of the wires may need to be diode isolated . or if ground may not be good enough..doors locks and alarm are ran through data port. this is the first time this problem has came up ...ive done a few thousand remote starts and never had a battery drain issue, before | |

| Swap out alarms and leave the wiring the same. Maybe it is the alarm that is causing the pass through. | |

| got her fixed it was the gwr wire .......had to put in new remote start and works fine now should of tried that in the first place but have never had a bad box yet ... | |

| I am having the same problems. I was told it could be my body control module draining my battery. So far with a brand new battery it hasn't drained it....... yet. What is the gwr wire? How did you trouble shoot it? | |
