| well Evan as far as putting up money thats for if they think you are cheating with the build, and as far as anything outside the vehicle that makes it unworthy to be in any class other than supermod they just have to point it out. they are not protesting your build they are saying your not legit because you dont meet the requirments set forth in the rules book. I hope that helps you understand what i was getting out because you obviousely missed the point. Now if that mud hole is really so much better to you that USACI is then why did you crawl out of it | |

| There are so many things wrong with this org besides just the rules. And the rules are horrible. So many grey areas it's insane. It seems the rules aren't even rules they are guidelines. It seemed as if Usaci was gonna miss out on a buck at finals they'd change rules or not abide by them just to not miss out on the cash.
When I competed I stayed within the guidelines as best I could. There is so much stuff you can do and call it cosmetic or hell not tell anyone you did it and no one would ever know. So even if you play by the guidelines 75 percent of everyone else isn't. " oh my car has a blower motor, but the base model doesn't so I can pull it out and gain" that's just an example but I'm sure it's been justified. I'm sure there are a ton of examples like this.
The cost to stay on top sucks too. Equipment is exspensive, finals is rediculously exspensive. All for a shitty plastic trophy. And if you set a record... Who knows if and when you'll recieve a plaque, and will your name be spelled right... Biggest reason I got out is it got crazy exspensive and nothing to really show worth showing. And it seems all I see on the forums anymore is bickering and drama. The best part of usaci was hanging out with the friends I had made | |
