| Im looking to mess around with this heavyweight 18 i have here. Looking for burp box reccomendations for it. Will be going into my 91s10 thats walled. 2 cactus k5's. One dc 380 alt. 8 xs power xp1000 batts. 18.2v set on alt. Sub is a dual. 7 ohm sub. Also looking for info on how to find the res freq of this truck. I do own a termlab also | |

| What i do to find the freiquency is put a 10" sub in a 1 cubic foot box in the center of the vehicle. And burp it through the frequency's. Once you have found the loudest note .charge and cool .than start over 3 notes down from your previous peak .and re confirm the note. Than build for 2 hz below the note that you peaked at.

| Well i guess i need to find a 10" sub. Doesnt have to be full tilt correct? Just enough to get a good reading? | |

| It can be a entry level 10. And turn it up to a appropriate volume for the sub . Keeping the same volume through the testing | |

| K. Ill jist scoop a sa-10 or something. Onlu amps i have are the k5's so that should be interesting. Should be easy to find one of those though.
What about box sizong for the heavyweight? Ive never messed with one. Are they like the apx sizing wise? I was thinking 3.5-4 cubes with a good size port. | |

Yea but whats to small? Cant really fit a 18 in a 1 cube box. What is the point of to small? | |

| just do like a box 20x20x20 with as many aeros as u can fit and test different sizes and lengths. | |

| I would do a full height slot port. .and full height wall. Just do a shallow depth . Than test your way down in size testing as you go. | |
