here is a new guy class idea I will add this just for ideas......so here we go and this will keep them separate from everything like msrp/max rms/clamp power ect
two years total no crxs or s-10 extended cabs (93 proir) other extended cabs must have equipment in passenger compartment power class 0-600 one amp one batt (800ci limit $400 max cost) one run +/- total (1/0 wire) up to 4 subs total any size none of this 8,10 or 20 sub crap one layer of sound deadener one alt 14.7 max all panels must be in/seats may be layed down or taken off of a trunk car that dont lay down (back rest only) no cutting on deck b pillar rule stays and window line rule stays _________________

two years total no crxs or s-10 extended cabs power classes 0-500 one amp/0-1000 two amps 0-500=one batt/0-1000=two batts (800ci limit $400 max cost) 0-500=one run +/- 0-1000 two runs +/- total 0-500=4 subs max any size/0-1000=6 subs total any size none of this 8,10 or 20 sub crap one layer of sound deadener one alt 14.7 max all panels must be in/seats may be layed down or taken off of a trunk car that dont lay down (back rest only) no cutting on deck b pillar rule stays and window line rule stays _________________ I like it, but personally would change it to one run of wire in both (normal people don't do multiple runs and with the equipment it shouldn't be needed. And two subs in 0-500 and 4 in 0-1000. Other than that I like it. That's just my two cents though. Also include all extended cabs, rangers and others work okay also and allow for the same battery placement. Or go back to everything must be in the cabin for mini trucks.

| If you single out EXT cab s10's why not ext cab rangers and then why not any other mini ext cab truck? Is there a reason to single out just the s10 of all ext cab trucks? | |

| yes the two most bitched about cars by the new ppl are crxs and pre 93 s-10 ext cab if there is going to be a starter class then there should not be either of these cars in it (level the playing field) | |

most of the others have not been used as much and the common knowledge has not been passed along as much this will open the doors for ppl to work at a diff kinds of cars and who knows they might find the new magic car or lots of cars that are close to each other

| you might have a point..... all crxs need panels in and box has to be 10 in back from b pillar and s-10s have all panels in and cannot use bed but i would like to hear opinions...and lets change power to 0-600 that way if they choose to move to stock no need to get a diff amp | |

| how...(just ideas) both need panels in s-10 no bed use but the crx has to have the box 10in back from the b pillar...and with only using 1 amp and 1 batt how do you need that much room anyway????? this is just for a basic/starter class....(but I really think both should not be in the class anyway but just ideas)

wow thats hard to do and I meant you agreeing with me but I still think both should not be in that class to make it more open for new ppl......guys with a rex or a s-10 ext cab should be able to roll in stock and get help from other ppl and do better than your local joe with his chevy malibu

| I think a trunk class would really boost attendance at show's. They will have a certain % of people that will get hooked on comps and will make the adjustments to move up. That's what happen to me years ago. Helping the newbie out and starting a trunk class imo will boost the organization. | |
