best recone glue?

Does anyone no what the best type of glue or epoxy you can use for a recone? And where I can buy it.

Ca glue. You can get it at a hobby shop. Or fixmyspeaker.com dd sells it as well as psi.

thats not the best kind chris! use 5k lbs epoxy you can find it at your home depot. get the 50 minute cure time, i have to say out of every sub ive ever had reconed i have never had a mechanical failure as far as spiders ripping, coming off the landing or and joints ripped apart.

Hobby shop CA isn't really whats best. Its to brittle. Not near as good as the black CA fixmyspeaker or DC or anyone uses//sells. You could use it for rd/atomic with the bolt on ring cause the screws do most of the work. But f you want something right now.. orileys sells devcon brand 5 min epoxy. You want the ones with the mixer tips in the pack. Done VERY well with this stuff on tons of recones

^^ x2 Ive also used the loctite brand as well, works like a champ.

the loctite is what i use as well. the longer the cure time the stronger the bond. the 30 second-2 minute stuff is for like @shows emergency recones, the 30 minute to 2 hour cure time is for like bojangles beating his MTs all day long.

Loctite BlackMax is a very good glue also.....it is a CA wit hsome rubber added to it.....I have used it on dustcaps and had excellent luck.....where the CA is to brittle.

e6000 for the spider if you are using a locking ring(wich sux to line up btfw), and i use ca glue for the cone/coil gap and on the surround a well squirt hardner squirt hardner and done lol

just be sure you pull the shim out before you glue the dust cap down lol or stop drinking tquila and doctor pepper before you start

I prefer black rubber toughened CA like DC..IA..Psi..sundown..etc etc use most of all.. I hate waiting for it to cure. I do use their rubber glue for caps and surrounds. Cause CA activates almost as soon as it touches the foam surround. Next in line is the devcon cause its easy to find and I'm very sure it will hold up
