Heard a rumor last night, don't know if it's true, has anyone else heard it?

This is kind of a tough topic with no info, so as not to be the one to start the rumor, has anyone else heard any significant rumors lately???

Correct, honda and chevy are merging and the first new vehicle will be the Chonda CR-10. The front will be based off the CRX but will have the bed of an S-10 added to the back for cargo hauling.

Not to my knowledge. There are alot of (odd) collaborative cars being developed right now... but GM and Honda? Not yet.

GM is working with a company in China (because the government forced them to). Chevy is expanding the Korean market like crazy.

Both companies lack the balance sheet (for different reasons) to make this happen. Honda because of rebuilding their supply chains and that their business plan is in "cash cow" mode. GM is claiming to be *recovering and changing* from the bailout (a genuine lie, not much changed internally during their restructure).

I wouldn't mind seeing a new small truck, but GM seems in capable of producing a "I go to Home Depot once a week, but not every day" vehicle. It wont be called a "Chonda" either. I've heard cheap 2-stroke engines called that before... and you can't sell a car that sounds so much like CHODE. Did that get autocorrected? Just checkin'

If it happens, I'll be wrong... but nothing is coming down the pipeline, and it just doesn't make fiscal sense for those two.
