| A 14.9v cap would have been nice in stock classes but 15.5v isn't really stock to me. Don't get me wrong you'll see me charging at 15.5v in the lanes but idk about the change. | |

| it works great for me my stock alternator is a 160a and it charges at 15v at first start when its cold and right after my runs it jumps to 15.3 at the most to get charging back up so thats pretty stock to me!! but i have a 2006 jeep grand cherokee idk how other cars are. id hate to get disqualified for my STOCK ALTERNATOR CHARGING TOO HIGH FOR A STOCK CLASS!!!! | |

| My 2001 sonoma charges over 15 when it's really cold out and about 14.9 normal when you first strat it up, after it warms up it goes down a little, but always over 14, even with stereo, heater and every thiing else on. | |

| Ahhh. The sounds and spells of nitro in the morning never sounded better. Its useless to even try to buy eqpt or build a car untill a month before finals. And we wonder why local shop hosted shows have 2x the turn out of a USACI tripple and no one wants to pour money into this anymore.. | |

I'm with you Alan. I think Fred might be done as well he just picked up a nitro savage, there is also a new track being built here locally so I think he will be giving that a try.

The more I think about it I don't mind it as much. In the winter months my old h/o alt would charge at 15.0-15.3 and back down to mid to low 14s in the hotter months. Having an external regulator makes you forget how much internal regulators are affected by temperature. Also this allows people with MLA's to compete in stock classes.

| realy, it sucks that the battery limit has changetd twice in as many years. i just got done meeting the last requirements to run. sold my batteries as the new rules made them obsolite. now once again, i coulda got 14 volt batteries. anyone need 8 12 volt batteries? seems to me the battery companies are the real winners. IM SICK OF BUYING fornicating BATTERIES TO KEEP UP WITH THESE fornicating RULES | |
