OLDER DAYS

I was talkin to a good buddy of mine earlier and we were talking about the whole sound competitions and how they used to use flashdance back in the 90's and the judge would measure and position the mic on the dash in everyone's vehicle so everyone had to play the same music. Let's hear yall input on this guys??

Well those were the good ole days forsure.. And that was before outlaw spl days... in other words they counted everything not just spl... And not being mean but about 90% of the spl compeditors out there couldn't handle it and would really leave usaci then... Example

In 95 my vette would do a 145 on the spl scoresheet.. This was the order ... Verification,sound,install,rta,spl...... My example is this i would win and get 1st with my 145dband my 2 tens.. NOw this would piss off the old lanzar van from abaline because he put up a 160 in the class every show.. Now i would be beat bye 15points and ppl diddn't understand how a guy with 2 tens would win thing is i would fukkkkking kill him on sound and install and rta.. bye a 40 points margin now with final scores were talleyd i would win by 25 points.... This would make the guy with lanzar van very very mad he always through a fit he never relized that infact the spl portion was only a lil weeee bit of the contest . This would not work out still if this was all usaci offered see my point....


Now to do the new classes and just say do flashdance would be kewl and actually fun.. But i promise you most of the oletimers would whoooooooooop dat asss nowadays cause infact there are two portions of that song that peak like 10 seconds and 19 secs and we know that whole sweep like the back of our hands .... Basically if you think ppl \"Female dog\" now ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh lawd the mess that would cause but hell of an idea bro

Gotcha..I dont know anything about it so that's why I was asking..I understand. Thanks Jimbo. USACI just needs to set the rules in stone and dont bend them. This sport needs to become a lot more fun and bring a lot of new competitors

tank if your thinking about SB with this post then the solution is simple .. usaci needs a SB cd. as for the rules.. well i know people hate talking about drag. but ive been to 4 or 5 drag finals. and us as competiters know as much about the rules as the 3X judges. there is no "hey is this legal" and then ralph comes and says its " ok" the rules are cut and dry.. and there is waaaaaay less grey area. see , this is where i was going when i try to \"Female dog\" about the heater box thing. why is it even a question if you can pull your heater box, swap head rests. etc... if you can have MDF in the roof etc . very very easy. NO MODS IN FRONT OF THE B PILLER. and every drag competiter knows the rules... and they are followed to the T ..

I agree with that Alan...I mean they allow bed cuts in super stock..u kiddin me lol..whats so stock about that..STOCK should be BONE DRY STOCK and only difference between stock and super stock is the voltage

I would like to ask two questions

A. Dose sq have one cd thay all use in usaci now?

B. An in supper stock if you can put your box right behind the front seats in a van then why can't you do the same in a suburban?

brad in SS you can have the box at the b piller just like no wall in drag .. and marilios panda.

Wasn't most of those # done with the AC mike? I was doing a 51 in my daiy driver using flashdance cd.
