| Seems like Trunk 0-1000 and trunk mod would be the best way to get attendance at finals. | |

| I think trunk 0-1500 or 0-2000 and trunk mod open would be a little better because of the lack of space (aside from old school caddies etc) in trunk. That way one larger amp with a higher 4ohm rating could be competive as well, because not everyone has the room for 2-3 d5s/d9s as well as batts and box | |

| Man, I thought a pair of D5's or 4.1's was expensive in 0-1k, I don't even want to think about having to have 4 of them for 0-2k. | |

| While a Broader class I.E 0-2000 would allow more people to run thier daily setups with overrated amps....it also gives a ton of power to people using amps rated low like the D5's or 4.1's or 200.1's | |

hehe I like this because I can squeeze 2 18s 4 batts and 8 amps in the trunk and still run to the grocery store :-)

| Eah its whatever I can always run streetbeat or mod ain't a big deal but to get more competitors in the class I would consider it like I know 1 guy that has 4 15s in a bandpass with a port thru the rear deck but because a 12 by 12 inch hole was cut for the port he had to stay home but either way it turns out I will be at finals in a class :-) | |

i hate to sound like i am nut huggin but alan couldn't be more right on this. i dont think we need a trunk mod or a split the two trunk classes up. trunk 0-2k sounds ok but that just mean your gonna have guys running 4 d9's in a class against the new guys with only a good size 3k amp at 1 ohm. an lets not get into the sound digitals an stetsom's amps ratings they could do some damage too. trunk 0-1000 is fine the way it is cause it makes it playable for the new blood to come in an trunk unlimited is just what you big dogg's need. i think the rule need to be done some justice to help out oldschool who has all his equipment in trunk but his opening is cut open. i think along that line if you start doing that your deck lid shouldn't be modified nor your box should pass your deck lid.

| True just thinking ways we could open up the class since there was talk about this being the last year for it cause I like this class even though I have to sit on the side lines I still think it can and will grow however with no cutting lol do you think a grand marquis or crown vic will ever be competitive ? So those guys are now out just throwin some ideas out there hoping ralph or janessa is reading :-) | |

| In think mod trunk is a great idea ! Open power, no batt limit, everything in the trunk . As for stock trunk ..0-1000 or 0-1500 or open power i would be in amything stock . D's9 are 900 at 4 ohm .there would only be 2 in 0 -2000 so d5s is the one's to look out for .lol | |

ok. but.. how many guys have systems in the trunk that ARENT cut vs people whos trunks ARE cut? id say 70% of the trunk cars in my town are cut so i dont have to build the box in the trunk. usually just the lip in the opening to slide box in
