i think street beat means you should be able to stand next to the vehicle and feel it literally beating on the street. ive stood in front of guys burping 60s @ high frequencies and didnt even know they ran. there is no meter on the "street." the "streetbeatmeter" if you will is actually passerby's and pedestrians' ears. and that mic is more impressed by low frequencies. just my opinion though. alot of people like that techno high pitched bing, bing bang. me, boom,boom.

but, if you are a serious competitor, that means you want to stretch the limits of physics. i say if you are winning, there aint nuthin wrong with tunning high to do it. i would like to say the guys beating me and using high pitch are winning because of the high pitch, but thats not true. i tried to tune high and got nuthing. they are winning because of skills. not pitch.
