Soundigital is just SICK....

this amp is just loaded with power. i mean if it dont hold up you have a lifetime warrenty. but it delivers power, and i mean POWER! and its clean. i say clean because i have heard bad things. and Murilo has stayed in contact with me.

The make great power. I love mine just wish the customer service was better.

i heard they were awesome amps and the lifetime warranty is awesome but i heard from some people running them they have great customer service till you need it fixed then its really hard to get ahold of somebody to tell you whats really going on! but still even if i gotta wait a while a lifetime warrranty is the Dung Pile!!

we got 6300 RMS clammped from our 16kd on a single 12v battery. in most cases you would need to buy two amps to get that kinda power on a single 12v battery, and that would cost you more than $2k for sure.

actually ide rather have 2 amps producing more power thats doesnt cost as much

so nah it really doesnt doesnt match up price wise

I mean if ou want 1 big amp to wow the people with then yah its ok or if you dont have the space for 2 over the 1

In project db's streetmax car we had 2 5kWs producing over 7000 (@ 3 ohms after rise) on one XS Power battery @ 10.8 volts with car off, in this case these can be bought used for well under 2K,

just sayin'...

agreed, and i could have as much power out of 2 d5's and still have enough left over to get a 3rd d5 as well

A few guys out here run them, the 8K's and smaller are great, but the 16K's last you a couple shows before it blows up. Then good luck getting it fixed in a reasonable amount of time. Their customer service sucks when you blow one. Took one local competitor several months to get his back, and that only happened cause he started a thread about it.

That is not true, being the STRONGEST amplifier around it requires some extra electrical/acoustic knowledge to get it on it's full potential. Just like a race engine, you need to make sure the other components of the system are working properly. We have seen some problems happening with loudspeaker reaching their excursion limits, sometimes rocking (shorting output) or messing with impedance, since with the coil outside the gap the counter EMF wont play it's role and the current will increase (reducing impedance).

Don't judge service based on a single case.

Really.... I sent you a e-mail a month and a half ago bout purchasing another 12k and still haven't got a response. Even tried to call your phone and no answer.

How many batteries do you recommend for a 16K?

we use 1 stinger 1800 in our street A car with no problems at all ,,volts drop to 11.4 . with car not running

i also am having a hard time buying that. you must have mega imp rise and making jack $hit for power

I'm assuming its not at full potential right now cause most limited battery vehicles I've seen drop more then that unless your battery has a messed up IR that doesn't let it go lower.

the batt is about 6 months old got it new from stinger and i have the 1700 not the 1750

but if you where making power you would have a better voltage drop.
