state records?

so i just happened to look at the state record and it says i am the current record holder now i know this is just because nobody competes in my class from illinois but my question is does it really mean anything? i mean do you ge a plaque or anything at the end of the year or just your name in print on the website?

you get to continue paying outrages entry fees, pay stupid amounts of money to host a show in your own back yard, or drive 10 hours to the nearest show and get 1 foot tall trophys and say your a cirtified member of USACI just to get points that really dont mean anything other than the fact your name is posted saying you hold the state record!

lmao a little hostility there? i feel ya hell we only got 1 place here that host shows and they next 2 were just canceled so who knows might be doin that 10 hour drive just to see where im at!!

there is a show on the 30th at sundown one audio in springfield but its not usaci sponsored just a local show but they are doing streetbeat rules so gonna go and at least get metered to see where its at now with the new amp! i heard it is a tl mic at least!!

that's gay. I been waiting for that show for months. since the last one i went to in april this was the show i had all intentions of doin next. you know the entry fee for that other show? ah crap maybe i'll just do the cape girardeau show. at least it's a DP show

yeah my bad aug 28th but idk the entry fee at the other show just gonna go get metered and see where im at they are looking for another host somewhere in illinois to pick up the aug show and some others hopefully!

its 2 hours either way for me but yeah hopefully another show will happen. i was hoping to see at least 1 usaci show IN St. Louis this year but that scene seems to get thinner every year. C'mon Charles Hot Shots sounds good right about now....

well ill be at the show friday at sundown registration is 6-8 and start metering at 8:30 and whatever shows i can make it to around here!
