Not the Batt quantity, like I said the voltage.. At finals, on the multimeter, My voltage was barely over 16 volts.

| the 4.1 needs as close to 18v as you can get it. it is a current hog. the powermaster battery like kumar has doesn't seem to like to hold as much amperage at exactly 18v as the kinetiks do. trust me i tried both and the kinetiks do better on the 4.1. I told kumar he had plenty of battery his drop would be fine but there are other amps out there that make more power at the lower voltage the powermasters seem to work at. if he had 44 kinetiks he could have run the 4 4.1's and probably of been pretty well off. in my s10 on 1 amp 16 hc16v the difference between charging the batts all the way up and waiting for them to drop to exactly 18v with 2 alts set at exactly 18v and having the batts be at 17.8 and letting the 2 alts bring the voltage to 18v was .6db. same voltage drop less amperage at 18v. amperage at 18v is the most important thing on the 4.1. limited batteries is gonna fornicate it and the d5 should be better or the 200.1. I won't know exactly how much its gonna hurt untill i get time to either help chop unload 30 batts outta his van or put the stuff in my truck. anything else you wanna know just ask. do i like the new batt limits not really. do i care that they made them? not really. i'll keep doing what i am doing guess with less power i gotta build better. maybe i better get to work | |

| troy are you seriousely sitting there saying the kenetik 3 post 16v batts has more amperage than the powermaster does???????????
also a treo 4.1 amp on 18 batts in my truck did 159.4 with a drop to 17.2v
a 200.1 on the same setup a week later did 158.6 with a drop of 17.4v

| no i said at exactly 18v the kinetik has more amperage then the powermaster. i am not doubting the powermaster has more amperage overall but at exactly 18v they didnt seem to like to work. i have 6 batts that are bulged out because i charged them like i needed to to get the power outta the 4.1. the kinetiks never did that.
i have nothing against the powermaster 16v batteries. i'd use them on any other amp but the 4.1. now on limited batteries like 0-600 superstock whatever whats that 3 batts to 1 4.1 pff screw that. 3 powermasters will probably outperform 3 kinetiks even on a 4.1. but with unlimited batters the kinetik will outdo the powermaster on the 4.1.
i am in chat ill explain it if you want.

You do know there are two different ones one that sells affordable for retail and the other is the monster that takes the3 18v they look identical but are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy diff.... Just ask any retailer that sells Treo 4.1's WTF is the world coming too... So what one was grapped to the test.... Things that definatly make you go hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm .... Now which one is that?

| There is no retail and comp versions. Any retailer who orders a cxt4.1i will get just that. The v1 jeff is receding to is the ssx 4.1 an entirely different line and came out at different times. The one that USACI picked up to test was a cxt4.1i. The ssx 4.1 isn't even in production anymore hasn't been since before the cxt 4.1i was even out. | |
