| Am i missing a shipping screw or something. I bought a alpine 9886 yesterday from a dealer. Installed today and can't get it to take cd's. It was a display. Any help Thanks | |

| It should work right out of the box! Try disconecting the yellow wire and reconecting it . As soon as it powers up hit eject. Than put In the disc . This worked for me on a Alpine 7977. | |

| i bought one back in 08 and it would paly the cd either i had to send it back and get it swaped out.... | |

| Take the face out. On the left, there is a reset button. Try that. | |
