Ofcourse sanman does lol! I was using RD for sake of example, throw DD's or DB Drives, or whatever else they use I guess I'm off base here, I just dont like Memphis strictly an opinion though, Use whatever works for your setup and there you go! Hell I might just run some Insignia's from best buy lol

a little late on this part of the topic, but why not wire all the subs to .25, then series them back up to .75, then strap the amps so each one see .375 before rise.

sure you probably won't get all the power out of them, but you won't blow them from being too low either. I've heard those amps, at least the old memphis 4ks didnt like anything less than 1 ohm, or voltage lower than 10 so why risk it. my rise is about 2.5 in my truck, so wired to .175 you will only rise to like .45, and since you don't have the batts yet, well......just play it safe man. but i don't know the memphis amps, but i think thats what i heard before.

as long as you are consistent with power test away, you can get most of it done now, then fine tune later when you get all your stuff

this is how i ran my subs at the atlantic show in nov since i was only using 2 cactus 600's.

there are some benefits, some downfalls, all coils with get the same power this way, but you won't get full power out of the amps, but then again just for testing you only need about 80% to start with anyway, at least thats how i do it to fine tune it, then recheck at full power

strapping is pretty simple and straight forward, just follow the owners manual, check out page 12.

as for wiring, to make things easiest what you should do is run all your wires to the bed, that way if you need to rewire you dont have to take subs out to do it. make sure to label them too.

i started from the drivers side and labeled like this sub 1; 1+, 1-, 2+, 2-, sub2 3+, 3- and so on and so forth

that way you can series, paralel, whatever you want without taking subs out to "rewire"

thats a lot of wire when your running 3 quad subs. The wire cost more than one of my subs. lol

also remember when you strap an amp, that each amp is actually seeing, or running at half of what you give it

so say your subs are wired to 1 ohm, well each amp is seeing half that ohm load, so each amp is running at .5 each

sounds like subs are coming back out ! I didn't run 2 sets of wire for each sub . I wanted to .but I didn't .I bought 8 gage wire .felt stupid striping it back to 12 gage to get the jumper in the hole. when it don't feel right just don't do it !
