Mechman vs Ohio gen

What are your thoughts between the two? I'm looking to put one on my 00 Civic and both seem to be very nice but I would like to get some input from others.

I like Mechman pretty well. Their 250 amp unit is bullet proof. It'll do 160-170 at idle and 260+ full tilt. Matt is very dedicated and has been very helpful. Simply my opinion.

Powermaster, Ohio Generator, High Output, Irragi are all great.

Ive never dealt with Mechman

unfortunately when you ask for opinions thats all your going to get is preferances.

i myelf like to either watch whats works the best by comparing whats wa son vehiles in the lanes at shows i attend or from finals.

the other way i do it is buy and test then sell off the ones that dont cut the mustard

if i had cash my money would go to ohio.. then maybe irraggi.. no mechman.. ive used all three some way or another in mine or friends cars.. mechman has been sent back for a 2nd time.. never had a ohio fail.. had an irraggi that just never worked.. but he replaced it the day we called , no questions.. but nver had one that worked out of the box, fail...

iraggi or mechman we use both and have had great luck and we use the iraggis on streetbeat cars that take abuse he has always stood by his warranty on any issue.

Do some research on other boards about Dom and his poor customer service @ Iraggi. Gus and Tom are great to deal with at OG as well as Scottie at Powermaster.

ive got the new hotness mechman alty and its a beast! i vote mechman. but ohio gen are tits too

Mechman has been around awhile also. They both are good choices.

Anyone heard of DCPOWERINC they make a largecase hairpin alt for my 1997 accord which is rated at 180 amps at idle

My Mechman crapped out on me , gotta send it in this week.

I might just go with dual stock alts honestly

Aything can break. I like Ohio. I had a few Ohio that went bad but Gus took care of it.

OG sent a tech to John Roberts truck at Finals when his alt died...years on the alt I think. That dude from OG worked his tail off for John, in the lanes, at Finals. Awesome IMO.
