I think he was asking if there was a formula like the one you would use for calculating port length for calculating potential impedance rise. The answer is no. It's trial and error. To help reduce rise you need to sturdy your box. Fiberglass resin and bracing can be a big help with this. Also, rolling your volume up on a burp instead of full blast right off the bat helps reduce the rise initially so you get a higher response before your rise goes up. I can't remember which way it works with enclosure volume. If I recall right, the smaller the box the lower the rise but it could be the other way around.
