Joint Finals a success. USACI numbers down due to very remote (from USACI) location but better than expected. Results posted on web site.

Instacal shows to install with the wizard, restart the laptop and start the install of term-lab and half way through the error 1904 pops up. I installed it on Jimbos other laptop with XP and all is good, try on the laptop wirh VISTA and get that error. Any other suggestions???

Are you running 64-bit Vista?
If so you need the new 64-bit version of Instacal.

Hit me w/ an email, I have the new version.

Ok I tried the following

Press Start/Run and register the file using the following command:
regsvr32 "c:\windows\system32\cbmdaq.ocx"

This is what i got :

The module "c:\windows\system32\cbmdaq.ocx"
failed to load.

Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent files.

The specified module could not be found.

Trying a few different things we saw as possible fixes now, any other ideas would be helpful.

Mike,

See if you can find the file cbmdaq.ocx on the install disk, and copy it to the system32 folder on the PC, then run that again

thanks again,
mike d.
