| Instacal shows to install with the wizard, restart the laptop and start the install of term-lab and half way through the error 1904 pops up. I installed it on Jimbos other laptop with XP and all is good, try on the laptop wirh VISTA and get that error. Any other suggestions???

| Ok I tried the following
Press Start/Run and register the file using the following command: regsvr32 "c:\windows\system32\cbmdaq.ocx"
This is what i got :
The module "c:\windows\system32\cbmdaq.ocx" failed to load.
Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent files.
The specified module could not be found.
Trying a few different things we saw as possible fixes now, any other ideas would be helpful.

Mike D. Mike, See if you can find the file cbmdaq.ocx on the install disk, and copy it to the system32 folder on the PC, then run that again | |

| ok um now i am just at a loss. dont see any files that end in .ocx or for that matter anything by that file name on the cd. i have installed this for jimbo a few times and never had issues, but then again that was in windows xp also. so far none of the fixes we saw online have worked for this problem...
thanks again, mike d. | |
