Some Tips?

Me and my brother are pretty new to this competition stuff. I'm currently running 3 12'' rockford fosgate p1's in a ported box powered by the p300 rockford amp. im stuck at 142 decibals and i was wondering if theres anything more i can get out of my system. i attended my first usaci event ant took 3rd, but i get the feeling that 142 db's isn't going to keep getting me trophies.
Also, we have a 2.0 farad capacitor on there and the voltage still drops to 11 volts. i dont know too much about systems but i didnt think my 300 watt amp would draw that much power. any ideas why my voltage drops so much?

whats your power and ground wires like? Where is it grounded? sell the cap for some MDF money...

# 1 your very best bet is to find a local great SPL chef @ a real car audio shop in your area . they will have a proven history of winning competition systems over the years .

if you want " remote control help "here ,you need to post vehicle info ,exact box size (if ported or vent ,that size as well) ,power wire size , how old/new your main battery is . competition in most sports is about who puts in the most time,money, and effort . 142db is pretty good with the equipment you stated . in competition ,you can't have too much power or speaker . the more the better in most cases .

alright, i will try to get that info to yall as soon as possible. ya, we have been talking to one of the 2 digital design dealers in texas, eddie, he's pretty helpful but i like getting as much advice from as many sources as possible. but like i said ill try to post the info asap
