| Machida fight was great! I was very surprised when they anounced Hughes as the winner. Matt Serra did not do all that great either, kind of a boring fight imo.. | |

| no i haven't... i thought hughes won not a good win but a win...he took him down i think 4 times. only got stuffed once and siera dindn't take him down but once... niether did $hit standing... | |

| I too watched the ppv and evans better work on his game cause machida game him a beat down for sure. To me i think machida is the light heavyweight version of Anderson silva but that may change since silva will be having his second light heavyweight fight in august against forrest griffin i believe.
As for the hughes/serra fight, hughes won that fight because he was smart and took his opportunities when they were there. As for serra, all he seems to be good at lately is running his mouth and not backing it up. In the gsp/serra rematch gsp man handled him and in this last fight hughes played it smart. The only time serra had hughes in trouble was due to a headbutt and i think the judges noticed that which is why all 3 rounds went to hughes.
Waiting for Mir/lesnar fight in july, i hope mir puts another whippin on him. | |

I was so happy after the ppv.I was glad hughes won too,Another big win to add to his legacy.Sera is just a loudmouth New yorker that get lucky at times.Yes I too agree anderson is top of the food chain,but maybe machida is the one.Silva is NOT unbeatable...his time is coming. | |

| i believe machida and silva will fight pretty soon and we will see...i know he's beatable cause he's been beat for one... i think it'll be a good one because they are very technical fighters and both very illusive...
