I'm not to sure what class i need to be in.

I'm running a 500 rms/1000peak watt, and 1 500rms/1000peak sub at 2 ohms

Its a kennwood 1000 peak watt i believe. class d mono block. I think its 4 ohm stable and 2 ohm bridged?

you can basically run any class you want, all classes are tough as well, its up to you man, find out your top scores and pick the class you have the best chance in

What kinda car? If I were you 0-600 stock class.But honestly you need a amp with a low 4ohm and a high 1 ohm.Those amps work the best.What subs are you running?

well its in a pontiac grand am and im running one rockford fosgate p3 rated at 2 ohms

Ok well best bet for your current setup enter in the trunk class 1000 watt and lower class.That way you dont have to deal with crx and suvs,they will kill you trust me...been through that. But trunk class will keep you aginst cars like yours that way its more evenly matched.So answer...Trunk 1000
