Anyone running the new Memphis 16-MC1.4000?

The sub should be fine for burps at that. I have seen them burb 2 4kw on each sub at each amp at a 1/2 ohm. I don't know about the new 4kw's but the old ones got real finiky under 1/2

...and smoked if the voltage got too low.

what if I keep the voltage above 15volts. I am running 7 16volt batteries.

how low does the voltage have to get before these amps fry

I ran the 4k at .5 ohm last year off a 12v setup and did 152s in stock class with good batt. They really wake up above 15v though. Its a great amp but they are really picky. Had mine for a while b4 I figured it out. I popped mine 4 times last season. With 12v you need good batts.

i run my memphis mojo 2500 1/2 ohm daily and never have a problem awsome amps just have a red top optima under the hood and 1 batcap 2000

just dont try to fire a 4kw up at 18 volts it will shut right off you can fire them off at 17.99 volts and below

Is that amp that sensitive?

there are alot of amps that are like that... even the mmats amps are like that

yes sir but they do wake up at 15v and up
