Lake Charles Civic Center - 900 Lakeshore Dr - Lake Charles, La. 70601

As stated in the subject, this is a 2x event.

The event list has this show slated for a 9am start time. That doesn't seem right. I'll find out the specifics and let ya'll know. I also am going to find out if Humpty Dumpty is going to be promoting this thing. If so, you can count me out.

Full event, + Car Show.

I'll be there....5 hour drive for me, but by then I will be feinding for a show. haaa

Who's humpty dumpty?

Humpty Dumpty is the guy who was riding around on a golf cart at Relaxin on the Bayou (Lafayette show) losing his mind with the people who DARED demo their vehicles. haaa

Ha didn't even know they had me on the site, I'm bringing it down again this year and maybe another little something.

Last year they had people beating everywhere so I doubt its the same promoter

I just got off the phone with Roger Miller (the man for this event). He said he doesn't mind guys demoing their vehicle, with exceptions=

No vulgarity
Not for extended periods of time
No profane images (if you have screens in your ride)

You just have to remember that this will be similar to most events--family oriented. Not everyone wants to hear Late Nite Tip all day long. The kids shouldn't be hearing F....this, F...that...ect. He said if you want to showcase your system, by all means go ahead and do so...but give it a break every now and then, or you will be asked to turn it off and leave it off.

He promises noone will be cussed out or noone will put thier hands on anyone for jamming their systems. If that was to happen, the authorities will be notified, and well...you know the rest.

Roger seems like a cool guy, and I will be looking forward to meeting him. He says this show is an annual thing, and has been going on for the last 18 years. He promises a good time to all who attend.

Aaron, its not the same person. This show is put on by different people. registration will start at 9am and we will start metering around noon

according to Roger the sound comp will be on both days. our event calendar says the 18th only. can you clarify this for us Greg?

It is both days. You can run on Saturday and or Sunday

Yea I can imagine the noise he was talkin... It was a 300. A dyke chic bought the lac for 12, I already had to ride to lafayette to "fix" it. She said the compressor wouldn't come on anymore when she started the car.... The tank was FULL. Had to explain it only comes on when you use the bags, It'll prolly never leave her garage lol
