| so i finally decided to test my car and see what it does in streetbeat.
i did 2 runs in the shop, not at a show yet, just wanted an idea what it did, i have 6 L5 12's on one IA40.1 and 2 total batteries, the first run i tested i did a 151.8, on this run i started with the volume about 15 clicks lower than my burp volume and started out at a 147 and rolled the volume up as the track played, just wanted to test everything, also the bass track ended about i second before the end of the run, i was over a 152 when it stopped
second run i started at burp volume to see what it really had, i ended up with a 155, i might have missed the start, but by less than a second, 152 was the first number on the screen and it went up to 155 in the first 15 seconds or so i was impressed at the end cause the highest i stayed at 155 the whole time, i did drop to 154.9 with like 8 seconds left, but it got itself back over a 55 before the end. wasnt like a lot of sb runs i see that lose a db or more over the last 15 seonds or so, props to some sweet woofers, a good amp, and my batts for not losing anything.
i know it has more as i didnt have anyone in the car for the test, just the globe laying on the floorboard, also a whack Gluteus Maximus alternator any kicking out 13.2 volts, so, will i do sb at a show, we shall see. |
