USACi NORTHEAST FIRST SHOW

First topic message reminder :

USACi NE first show will be at TC's PAWN SHOP in Waterbury CT.
This will be a car show and SPL event.
Date is TBA.

I do a 153 with my setup and i should be doing better however my amp doesnt like the half ohm load i put to it so I need to get a diff impeadence for my subs or an amp that can handle .5 ohm

I only hit less then 1db more at .5 ohms then I do at 2ohms

AGAIN the car wasn't build for spl...did u ever do a 150 in a bandpass box like his? If he could of being twice as loud how come u guys couldn't get loud with JL?

If it's with the right power and a perfect box those can get pretty loud, I just haven't seen this happen yet. For an SPL set up your best off looking into sub manufacturers less know than brands like Kicker, JL, Rockford etc. Memphis makes some awesome subs, Fi, T3 and American Bass are better, Atomics make some of the best out there, DC SoundLab makes an awesome too.

A bandpass box can get damn loud too. The loudest vehicles in the world use a form of bandpass enclosure to get their world records. It just takes so many hundreds of hours of testing to hit those numbers that it's not worth it for the average street vehicle.

Yeah i think we're all on diff conversations lol. The jl setup only hit 145. the equipment is top of the line works great and last long its just too expensive for comp but if you got the loot then go for it.

Something better pop up soon. Need to start building but its just not as fun without an impossible deadline. My boring ass life begins at the first comp of the year so lets do this. SET SOME DATES!

Recieved word about a Car Show @ Central Connecticut State Univ. in early APR. We were discussing adding an Sound off portion to the event, will update later.
