| if your using the l7 which it says in your sig then it wont. ive done it before with those same woofers and no problems but it is good to break them in | |

That aint true with any woofer........... the old L5 cones would crack when we burped 4k per 3 or so and only when it was really hot | |

| THe old ones would break cause they was vacum formed cones, and would have weak spots where the vacum pulled and left less material, The new cones are injection molded, a lot stronger, even the older ones, you had to put a lot of power to them to get em to break,
And if you blow subs a lot, that is ignorance on your part, and I could see why the shop will be mad, Any sub will blow. distortion, heat, playing below tuning, trying to show off to much. | |
