front battery disconnected after setup.
Gas cap taped over.

They WILL BE checking at the door with a test stick. Please take care of this in advance.

my gas gauge is broken i hope they don't try to look at that. I run out when the gauge says 1/4

UMMM, some cars have a screen on the filler tube, how are they going to do this "stick test"?

wow so if i get to much gas on the way down there im going to have to drive around town for a couple hours to get my gas down.. did i hear that right?

yep its always that way 1/8 tank. just time out the gas dont fill up as ya get close to dallas. or do donuts out in the lot till it runs out...lol

We are attempting to build a pump to drain tanks if possible.

Lucky when I was driving the van I stopped at a store I knew the gas pumped slowly, so I only got $10 worth instead of topping the tank. Cool

Raplh what about one of those hand pumps from the parts store for draining differential fluid

Somehting like that but hopefully 12volt. Bring your own fuel cans if you wnat to recover the fuel. As it willa ll be mised in our tanks will not be good for much but starting burn piles.
