Car Toys or Quality Auto Sound! I went to Car toys a week ago and the just went to Quality Auto Sound last night and they tried to charge me $130 for a 4-gauge wire kit. disapointing

It is infortunate that you had a bad experience at a particular Shop.
This is not the place to bad mouth them though, maybe you could just go back and air your grievance with them, and maybe it will work out.

Depending on the 4ga wire kit and its contents, that is not outlandish, the price of wire has sky rocketed, as have the cost to the dealer.

As for their opinions. Hard to find to audio stores that wont say that stuff to get a sale, Dont make it right but its pretty common for audio retailers to talk down brands they dont carry.

Best bet is to do your own research, come to your own conclusions, then seek a dealer that can provide the service and retail help that you need.

If a company cant sell you product based on its good qualitie s and has to resort to bashing other products they either dont have a great product either or are crap salesmen who dont know their product well enough.

You should clarify which CarToys...there are many chains with that name in the US.

Very reputable store Just becuase you have a bad feeling about stores it doesnt pay to come on here and bash the place!

i bought a kicker 0 gauge wiring kit with fuse holder and two dist blocks for 90 bucks on ebay...
