| So, I got to thinking...I see very few full size ext cab trucks in the lanes.
Yea, I know that having no back seat in one is automatic Mod and thats a big disadvantage for daily drivers...but what is the loudest non-walled full sized truck you have seen?
Not true Mod vehicles, but ones you can actually see out the back glass? And what kind of power did these truck have?

| Only see local kids with those.. So this will not hold much but like a 155 on 3000 plus .. I saw this once. Now with some thought and knowlege behind that same build there is no tellin how loud it could get im guessing 60 and more | |

| loudest i got my 1995 chevy 2500 ext cab was 148 on 2 kicker l5 15's on about 1300 watts.
here is a pic of a box i had 2 ma audio xl 12's on a 1300 ma hight current did 143.7. in the pic is where i got the best number out of that box. i angled the subs and port off of the back glass.
all of these setups were back 3-4 years ago when i was still just playing around, before i decided to start really competing.
since then went to a rex running mod 1-2k had so many diffrent setups trying to figure out how to get the most out of it i can. the rex has beat me down but i'm not giving up yet.

I've been looking into that Running 3 3515's now, thinking about going to 18's. I actually almost bought 18's the first time around. Looking at 9518's maybe. I haven't done too bad w/ the 3515's though. In a semi-daily box I was doing 154.2 @ 53hz w/ my 20.1's at 1ohm...and it would play daily just fine. Tried a new box the other day and I learned a thing or 2 from it. Going bigger w/ the box next time...took me a little while to see what was happening w/ the small box. I think my stupid self gets it now.

lol I think this whole time running 1 and 2 sub setups in my silverado for daily kinda made me under-estimate the truck. I'm gonna try 1-2 more boxes w/ these 3515's then I'm gonna try and move on to 18's. I'm gonna chase 156 w/ these 15's first though.

| We built a box and did a cut through for an 03 (I think) a couple of weeks ago. Our customer is "ballen on a budget" so we are doin his install in increments when he can afford it. He went to AR Super Car Show and did 146s in outlaw but was able to hold 147s in Street Beat. His is built more as a daily driver so an all out SPL box is kind of out of the question. He had fun showin off and such so I guess that's what counts. This was his first show and he got 1st place so we were both happy and had a blast. I'll grab more pics Friday when the truck comes in for some additional bracing and Dynamat treatment. Basicaly his setup consists of a 14 cuft ported enclosure with 4 L7 15s and a pair of Memphis 1000d's. Charging system is stock for now but have plans for an alt and additional batts. Like I said the kid just wants to be one of the loudest around here and we have acomplished that on his small budget so far. | |

| i use to have a toyota tacome single cab back in 98 i think it was I ran 3 jl audio 10's w6 of course and you guys can get loud in a single cab truck but if ure stuck with square and rectangle box's then you need to start thinkin a little differantly.
getting loud is thinking outside the box.
we also had a guy in a 93 s10 he was runnin and dont laugh 16 crunch 6.5 drivers behind the seat all legal like and that Dung Pile was nasty
