Comedian and Chicago native Bernie Mac died early Saturday morning from complications due to pneumonia, his publicist confirmed.

i was told last week he had died and it kinda freaked me out but come to find out it was a lie and when one of my co workers text me an told me i was like no he didn't, man bernie was one of the greatest comedian's, a king if u will. when it all settled in on me and i saw it on yahoo news then i knew it was real an dont know what else to say its like i lost a a real close friend. he will be missed an all my prayers go out to his family
