| LOL...seriously, due to the calls I've had to judge and what-not and the need for more judges, I'll be judging during the year next year for sure. Some don't care...some do. I just figured I'd let directors and what not know here. This is really directed to them...and Mike, Ralph, Tim...etc. | |

| I'd bet if we could get enough CONFIRMED folks interested we could do a training. It would probably have to be in northwest arkansas. We'd need Tim Goudy present IMO. That would work for his schedule. I could arrange some studio near field gear more than likely. | |

| I am more than willing to train anyone who is looking for help. I will still judge for USACI, but only at shows my guys are not at. Too much drama for me guys. John I am glad to see you are going to judge again. One day.....we need to judge an event together. That would be a blast. | |

| We could bring in some of our cars, and also a couple of our High end Home systems. Also we could check out some live music as well. Could be a great time, and a worth while learning experience. | |

| I've been tossing the idea around about offering up my services for judging as well.
But like Chris, I'll have to make sure that it's a show that Jan doesn't want to compete in. I'm not willing to start stirring that pot of bullsh*t.
Let's figure out a good time & place to do a members meeting/judges training and count me in.

| yup. Mickey...the only reason I said AR was because close to USACi...Fayetteville ain't bad man. Seriously. I like it better than Tulsa...that's for sure. The past issues were that no one showed up. Old school Members meetings happening again like that I feel will be a humorous discussion. UNLESS, we could have one a day prior to Finals pull in at the Finals event. I think that would be really nice AND do the judges training then as well. You are trained with your WF judges then. We can't have someone train the group that is not a World Finals judge often or currently certified for Finals. For instance...Like I know the wheel disc stinks...but after Tim and I judged FInals with it...there are areas you go to on that disc and get past the BS and can actually judge pretty well with it. Also, policies with judging install and creativity need to be discussed...that kind of thing needs guys that have judged install at Finals to say what they are looking for. I'm stepping off my soap-box now. I just feel we really need to push a training...It'd be a blast if everyone in this thread came...plus a few others. | |

| I've been to all the meetings in the last 10 years but 2.....last year all I hear is no meeting.....then 2 months later people were like y weren't u at the meeting....I DON'T STAY ON THE FORUM SO I DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS ONE....its very important and what makes usaci better than the rest.....I have never supported the meeting being at finals and never will but we do need one....in my opinion it is just as important as finals.especially if u plan on going to finals.....if they would make a date with sufficient notice I would do everything in my power to b there....to assist in training and VOICE my THOUGHTS....u reading this ralph.... | |

| OK...
It looks like: MontyB JoeW. Marquis Jorge SQCRX Bmuhammad( Chris ) 24Bug Matt Sibley
We already have 8 that are serious about this. It looks like the big dog judges have decided to lend a hand on training
Chris Pate John Sketoe Mickey Brones Jimbo da Bimbo (just kiddin) (shoot, with the upcoming judges at the T-Town Invitational, we could possibly get a few of them to lend their expertise too)
I think Tulsa is a great location and I think that if we get absolute support from Ralph...this can be a great offering and there is enough diversity in the group that when Pate or Sketoe want to compete, there are enough of us that can judge to maintain the peace.
I am all for it! | |

| I don't even want to think about judging while I'm still competing. I would hope that some of the directors that have shows with SQ would get more involved with training. We as competitors attend far too many shows where the director does not know how to judge SQ or shows zero interest in it.
Judging while you are competing or having cars that you built in the lanes while you are judging brings on more trouble than it's worth IMO. I was given the opportunity to help out with the triple in Little Rock a couple of weekends ago. I helped the guys with the show but I refused to help judge especially the SQ side of the show even though I was not competing. Being as I am not a certified judge I have no business doing any more than lending a hand where needed.

| My opinion...ANY USACi event organizer that has not been trained to judge SQ properly needs to attend this. If it comes to fruitiion. | |

| I still have yet to figure out how ralph lets someone that refuses to offer sq be a director.....especially in a region that in the mid 90s had some of the strongest vehicles ever built.....arizona and california .....granted they mainly did iasca....only because they didn't have usaci shows | |
