8 volt or 16 volt

hey got a question for everyone ....8 volt batts or 16 volt batts...gel or acid what do u think is the best...i got 2 soundstream 6500's on 4 dd 9512's ive already got 4 power master but i just dont think there doing the job not for both those amps what do u guys suggest???

I had those amps. 8-10 16 volt batteries should be enough.

Those amps come alive on 16 volts.

i got a 6500 on 6 power master 16v batts now at .5 burps with ezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

It seems like you would need more battery power. I use 4 Power Master D1000 16v with 1800-2400 watts. Your amps look like 10,000 - 13,000 watts.

I had 10 8 volt interstates on a XXX6500. They were not on alt power. Resting voltage charged was 17.4-17.5. Would drop to 13 on a burp!!! Amp was @ .35 ohms. They do come alive on 16V by the way!!! Very nice amps. I also ran this same amp in my truck on 12v @ .35 daily and never once hit protect!!!

well ive two of the xxxx-6500 at 1 ohm straped so each is seeing about a 1/2 ohm or do u think i should get one of those D.D. batt caps
