| i have a 98 bmw 740i with 2 kicker L7 12's in a custom box and a atomic 2200.1 amp. i have an alpine d100 head unit and i just got a optima red top battery i jus got it metered today and it hit a 137 but everyone i have talked to said that i should be hittin atleast a 145.. any suggestions on why my number is so low? | |

| well every one is right... you should of hit at least in the 140's. granted I'm not a kicker fan so it's hard for me to be saying this. there is a couple of things that you can think of or look at to make your numbers higher.
1. ported box (but im guessing it already is) 2. bigger amp. i've never in my life heard of atomic and i'll bet my life that amp is not doing what it says. (power wise) 3. get rid of those space stealing L7's! (sorry I just couldnt write any more without saying that)

| Subs forward port up in a trunk car, That atomic is a stout amp check your ohm load, those L7's will take just about anything you can through at them, dont listen to the HATERS. | |

keep me updated on your ride and good luck Actually your number 2 id bet its doing what it says and number 3 those subs are space giving and NOT A JOKE they give you more cone area and can take bout anything you throw at them.....his problem is i bet on its in the box | |

| subs up ports back I seen a trunk car do a 151.8 with 2 cvx 10s and 3000rms try 26w 14t 15d with 2 4" areoports 13" long you should be close to a 48 no problem your seat lay down? | |

| i had a real bad problem with my box when i put it in my aurora but i ended having to put the subs facing back with a slot port in the middle i dont know how well that would work for you but thought i might put my word in..and atomic is a good amp | |
