I also would like to cast my "vote" for TC's as the host of the Northeast regional. Let's make it happen. Between you & me & the rest of the internet. Rumor has it that the"powers that be" I. E. the owners of T.C.s Pawn CO are trying to convince the Pawnbrokers' association to sponsor the NE regionals if we are considered to host the event . Unfortunately the site of the last show would be to small to accommodate the numbers that would flock here. They are considering renting a "grocery store" parking lot to accomodate. keep checking back for updates!

Lots of planning has to go into makin a reginal event mark and i were talkin about doing one this year. All we need is for USACi to get some sponsors like back in the day

| If your a serious competitor and plan on hitting Finals then it's worth the trip. Hell, Finals are all the way out in Nebraska so compared to that long ass drive it's not that far. The longest drive I've made for a show so far was 12 hours each way to SVR in West Virginia....and I didn't even bother going to Finals. | |

Is it a rule that USACi has to get the sponsors or can you and Mark do it on your own? With dB Drags if you want sponsors for your show then you find them, it's not all that hard, especially if your trying to throw together a regionals event. There are plenty of companies out there that will sponsor an event like that, you just have to ask them.

What I meant was, can you and Mark find the sponsors and get the details squared away on your own, or do you have to get USACi HQ to do it.
With dB Drags shows it's up to the event host to get the sponsors and take care of all the details, just wondering if it's the same way with USACi.

You do not need any sponsors for a regional event.
